Circle of Will

Illustration & Animation based on the philosophy of Schopenhauer

Study of journey of living beings and its circle,

which are representations of the will to preserve own existence.

I tried to follow the path of how the philosopher developed his thoughts.

I kept drawing out of his books and created sketches 

which I think were related to his philosophy.

I realised that the space and the sea are one of the most important motifs in 

Schopenhauer's philosophy that I decided to use blue colour as the main colour for my work.

I broke down motifs into abstract

so that views need to think deep to develop their own thoughts.
